Two years ago, Posche accounced their Porsche Mission E concept car, the first 100% electric Porsche. Dr. Oliver Blume, Chairman of the Executive Board, Porsche stated this was "beginning a new chapter in the history of the sports car." The vehicle is was estimated to be launched at the end of the decade.
In more recent news, Dr. Oliver Blune announced the Mission E will be available for purchase in 2019 and have a reasonable price of an "entry-level Panamera," which is around $80,000-$90,000, he told Car Magazine at the Frankfurt Auto Show.
The Porsche Mission E will look very similar to the concept car and will reach an 80 percent charge in just 15 minutes. We cannot wait to start seeing these cars on the road!
